According to a Twitter message they are "still working with Valve on a Steam release strategy." It definitely seems like the game will still utilize Steam, a message on the account which stated the game WILL have Steam support. This would allow owners of the PC version of the game able to download the game via Steam to their Mac for free. One thing that Aspyr isn't confirming right now is Steamplay support. There wil also be other ways to win an autographed copy of the game without pre-ordering - but you'll need to keep up with the company's Twitter, Facebook or Blog. Right now you can pre-order the game directly from Aspyr in either digital or physical forms, in doing so you'll be entered to win an autographed copy of the game. Now you can use your turkey induced coma to conquer nations! The PC version was released this past September with three player co-op support, while the OSX version is being slated for November 23rd - just in time for Thanksgiving in the US.

Aspyr Media have announced that it will be publishing the Macintosh version of Civilization V.
